Sexy Star Loves Her Eye Bags
Unlike other celebrities who don’t want to grow old, sexy TV and movie star Christina Applegate isn’t ashamed of her eye bags. In fact, she has fought network executives many times to keep them.
The former teen heartthrob of Fox’s long-running dysfunctional family sitcom “Married…with Children†made that clear on the set of her former TV show “Jesse.†In that sitcom, Applegate played a single mom balancing work and family.
On several occasions, her producers supposedly demanded that Applegate do something about her ugly and unsightly eye bags. Although Applegate herself has joked about them several times, the star simply refused to follow their advice.
“Sexy Christina Applegate has found herself in the eye of a storm – producers are demanding the "Jesse" star conceal the bags under her eyes, and she's so mad she's seeing red. But livid Christina refused -- in her eyes, those shadowy bags help her portray a working woman realistically,†according to the National Enquirer.
During her “Married†days, Applegate was reportedly under constant pressure to look sexy and keep her weight down. But the talented star said those days are over. Applegate said she won’t bow down to pressure anymore just to please some executives. Her husband Jonathon Schaech who co-starred with her in the movie “The Giving Tree†remains supportive of her.
“Schaech is 110 percent supportive. He loves Christina just the way she is," said a close friend of Applegate.
Her fans appear to support her too. John Smith said, “It's pretty courageous to break from the cookie cutter perfect image we so often see at the movies and on TV. I am impressed!â€
“Real women have real eye bags, real migraines, real ulcers and real cramps,†added another.
“What more do they want her to do, have her face stretched a la Cher or something? Nah! She looks fine - just tired, which is very realistic for a single mom,†said yet another.
While Applegate should be congratulated for being herself, it’s also a fact that many people – especially women – are disgusted by the presence of eye bags. And they have every reason to be: eye bags can make you look old, tired, sad, or sleepy – not exactly the kind of image you want to project to other people.
“I have patients come to me and say: ‘At work people are always telling me I look tired. People think I’m not up to the job because I look exhausted (due to eye bags),’†revealed Dr. Joseph Eviatar, director of the Chelsea Eye & Cosmetic Surgery Associates in Manhattan.
Since necessity is the mother of invention, cosmetic companies have churned out every possible “remedy†since eye bags were first recognized many years ago. In 2004 alone, there were over 200 products in the form of lotions and creams – nearly three times as much as the previous year. This proves that eye bags are the concern of many.
If you’re sick and tired of eye bags, have tried all kinds of home remedies and products, and the thought of eye lid surgery is just too scary for you, why not try Eyevive? This safe and natural remedy could open your eyes to a beautiful new world. Visit http://www.eyevive.com for more details.
