i have an american seymore mann Porcelain doll?
i have an american seymour mann collection doll Signature series collection and i would like to sell it, but i don't know how much it's worth and i actually know where to sell it i have rang up a couple of antique dealers but they don't seem to anything about it. this doll also has a hand finished costume, hand painted porcelain head arms and legs. it also comes with a certificate and a number which is 412/5000, it also comes in a box, idon't know the age and i really don't know anything about it apart from that but i would like to sell it for some extra cash. can anybody help
I know you are not going to like this answer. The Seymour Mann dolls are mass produced in China over the past 20 years. They look pretty but not worth over 10.00 to 20.00. You would be better off baby sitting and keeping the doll. You find people list them on ebay for a lot like 25.00 to 46.00 but they never sell. I have been selling collections of dolls for years electronically, for 10 years now, and I never sell this type of doll. Sometimes if you set up at a church bazaar near the holiday season you might do better and then she can be a holiday gift once again. Hope this helped
