Glitter on a cookie jar...how to remove?
I found a really cute cookie jar at a yard sale the other day for $1. It looks like a house made of candy. The problem is there's glitter on it that rubs off onto your hands when you grab the lid. I'm just a little worried about the glitter from the hands, onto the cookie, eating it. Is glitter toxic? lol
Is there any way to get most of the glitter off without ruining the paint/design on the cookie jar? Thanks.
if the look of the glitter doesn't bother you, just wash the jar, and use a washcloth over the glitter spots and it should remove just the loose glitter and leave the rest. If you use nail polish remover, it will remove the other paint and designs. I do not believe glitter to be toxic, especially in such small amounts.
