how does ICT help firemen or the fire service???
could u please tell me how ict helps the fire service. the only thing i can think of is members of the public can contact them
any ideas would be gratefully appreciated

Having web sites allows firemen to share information about calls they have made, so the public can see immediately why there was an alarm at 3 in the morning, allows them to promote fire safety awareness, and helps them with recruitment efforts.
The Internet allows volunteer firefighters access to information they wouldn't have otherwise for training and what not because they wouldn't be able to afford to buy and ship the printed material.
