How could water mold eventually kill a fish?
please help my homeowrk is already late and i need this done tongiht...i have read through the section and it doesnt say it nywhere...please and thank you
I'm pretty sure it damages the gills. The mold makes it more difficult for the fish to filter oxygen from the water. The lesions caused by water molds are also vulnerable to secondary infections.
Note: The guy below me is wrong. Water molds aren't photosynthetic, they are either saprobes or parasites.
