Decorating my kitchen with a vintage, animal theme, any ideas?!?
I am decorating my kitchen with a vintage cottage "forest animals" theme. Think Sleeping Beauty's cottage in the woods. I want it to have a kitschy, vintagey feel. For example I am collecting a few vintage owl cookie jars...anymore ideas?!

As I have not run across any items that might work for you, perhaps you could create some items.
Photograph some pages from children's books, enlarge or photo edit them and frame them for your kitchen.
Cut out some animals from the books and decoupage them onto canisters, trivets, etc.
