Random kitchen items?
Whenever we go to my in-laws, my mother-in-law seems to empty her kitchen drawers and cupboards of random things for our daughter to play with. Most recently, she gave her cheerios (no teeth to chew) and metal cookie cutters (she didn't think it was sharp). My husband has spoken to her about this and she doesn't seem to see the problem, her kids turned out just fine.
Any suggestions on how to handle this?
Maybe bring lots of toys along or if you have some old or extra to leave there? Bring them to her in a basket and say you brought them for her to keep. Maybe she'll get the hint!
