does anyone know where I can get a soap mold that you put soap chips in?
I remember seeing such a device years ago that you put all your soap chips in and it somehow compressed the old soap chips into a useable bar of soap.
I found a soap making machine at Wal~mart several years ago (basically it just melts the soap down into so you can put it into another shape) Michaels and Joanne fabrics should have it as well. but almost anything can be used as a mold, paint can lids cardboard milk containers... Just look around the house.
I bought a couple of soap containers to hold my soap slivers in when I get enough I melt them down and pour them into a mold (you can also find some cute shapes in the Craft Depts.I like the Wilton brand the are for candy making but look cute for soap as well.)
or just put them in a sock and tie it in a knot and use as a bath sponge.
in other words I can not find the apparatus you are talking about
